Hello. I’m visiting the Atlanta, GA area, and I would like to schedule a meeting with you regarding a tour of your school. Please contact me at (516) 263-5503. Thanks. LaVerne Forte
hello, LaVerne… Did you read the above comment? This is NOT the school’s web site, this is just a listing for them. YOU need to call THEM at the number listed above.
The Howard School has moved to a brand new campus adjacent to the Atlantic Station development off of Howell Mill Road. Call them for directions.
The new school and classroom layouts were designed with lots of input from the teachers to maximize instructional possibilities. It’s really awesome and worth a tour!
My child has attended The Howard School for 7 years and is currently a senior looking forward to college next year. I highly recommend the school for their focus on individual learning styles and their ability to educate the whole child through academics, music, art and athletics.
I wish the Howard School would accept the voucher. I wonder if they are concerned that voucher parents would default on their tuition payments?
I would believe that anyone, be it a vouchered student or other, would be responsible for the full tuition.
I wonder if they do not want to and feel they would be forced to subscribe to what the GA DOE considers high standards of learning? I am very curious since they could fill a need for many students.
From all the research I have done, there are no options offered for remediation at Georgia private LD high schools. I can understand this since it requires teachers with a high degree of specialization and knowledge in remediation.
It will require going to private schools outside of Georgia.
The Howard School is currently accepting vouchers for this school year 2007-08.
I would like to tour the new school, can I just stop in this week or do I have to have an appointment. With the new campus are there additional services and is there room for new students now?
We are looking into opening a private school in Cumming, the north end of Forsyth. We would have plenty of room to have some special class rooms—we would like to accommodate all sorts of learners. Want to do it with a Montessori flair, build with Frank Loyd Wright design in mind. Anybody from up North?
