   My ADD/LD daughter entered Winston in 1999 after a total melt down in 9th grade (Dallas public school); she had failed all but 2 courses and was devastated. Although (previously) requiring various support services and/or accomodations, she had been an A/B student until then. After investigating several private schools in Dallas, we decided upon Winston. I am not exaggerating to say, it saved her life both academically and emotionally. She completed 4 years of high school in 3, graduated with a B+ average, and successfully went on to college. She not only received an outstanding college prep education, but left Winston with a deep understanding and appreciation of the value of her differences and how to capitalize upon them.
