Dr. Leonard V. Pisano has had extensive experience, for over 25 years, as a Psychologist in the school system offering services to both general and special education students from elementary to secondary settings. He holds licenses as a Psychologist and permanent certification as a School Psychologist in both New Jersey and New York. His experiences have been with varied school, parent and student issues, specializing in assessing students with learning differences/ disabilities and in supporting them in either general education or more specialized environments. He has also served as the Coordinator of Assistive Technology Services for his school district and has been involved in developing district wide procedures regarding Assistive Technology; approaches have utilized direct consultation and collaboration which have included ongoing staff development, examined the referral process, the evaluation of and follow-up of students with learning differences requiring assistive technology devices, training, support and other supplementary aids and services.
