I am interested in knowing if teachers are starting to use audible books on ipods for student use to access the content standards. The student that I am working with has difficulty comprehending electronic text read to him from his computer. If so, where?
1. yes, audible.com has books and other audible print that can be synced to an iPod and there are other sources as well.
2. Text to speech has improved significantly in recent years, it’s possible that the student you are working with is not using the lastest tools. Listen to this synthetic speech:
