To Fight Stuttering, Doctors Look at the Brain: “Stuttering, which flustered Winston Churchill and Moses, is a speech disorder that may be neurological, and treatable with drugs.”
(Source NYT > Home Page.)
My husband has stuttered since early youth. He is over 60. I am a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programmer and we have tried several techniques. I do know that early in the morning, he stutters less, and through the years he has stopped stuttering for a few days at a time. I am definitely against medication, as is he.
Jan: I’m also not one to use drugs but did you read the NY times article? Sounds promising to me.
