gSpell Spelling Service

gSpell is a system service extension for Mac OS X that uses the Google spelling engine to correct spelling. It looks at least as good if not better than OS X’s built in spelling service.
It goes without saying that in order to use it one must be online but these days we’re online quite a bit of the time.

example: people who read from right to left in the mirror image: solution, make a software program that inverts the entire desktop on the screen so it appears normal to us. (Horizontally)
Stephen: I’m not quite sure what transforms the screen has to do with gSpell except that gSpell makes a program like that irrelevant because it will allow you to have your computer read text to you so there’s no reason for you to have to read it right to left, left to right or top to bottom.
That said, I’ve never heard of people reading text written from left to right from the right side tracking left. Do you do that? If so, how? Most sentences that I’m aware of make sense only when read from left to right, beginning to end.
Are you talking about holding a book in front of a mirror? Sorry, I’m just not aware of what you’re describing.
There are those people who have a natural predisposition to read right to left. While it is true that sentences written in standard English would not make sense, for these folks it is more “natural” to read and to write in reverse- Not unlike driving on the opposite side of the road or reading Japanese.
hello richard RE: qSpell, tryed it & it did not work for me as i have tried all kinds of talking programs, the problem i have with them is where to place the cursor, i have a new url that shows my range of vision RE: Strephosymbolia with Daltonism is explained better with pictures (www.myspace.com/as_eye_see_it)
since i am somewhat independent, i prefer to see rather than listen to a computer, if all else fails contact me at my email swaner1@cox.net ( i`m beginning to believe the old boy up there has a since of humor.)
Stephen: I’m not sure how it didn’t work for you. You couldn’t see the screen adequately? Can’t you use your browser’s controls to make things bigger and/or higher contrast?
hello richard, sorry for takeing so long to reply; computer was in for a checkup, new upgrades, contrast has always been a problem for me due to the longer i`m on my system the eyes become tired & vision gets blured due to haveing to read backwards however i have come accross a graphics card made by PLANAR Systems inc. that supports the mirror image of the entire screen, to me it is a godsend as i do not get the migrains i used to get, the way it works is via both out ports from my main graphics card card (a)DVI-D out to card (B)DVI-D input then out from card (B)DVI-D output to DVI-D input of the screen, then from VGA of card (A)output to VGA input of of screen, then by useing the clone mode of card (A)both cards are active & i can switch from standard view to mirror view via the screen controls set up options , i also now own the only copy of MS MIRROR image fonts for windows along with the Sakasa mouse reversal software, Developed by Helmuth Weber of Germany & Jerry Latham of oklahoma city in cooperation with microsoft, i have found a way to surcomvent the confustion as to my Dysgraphia by color codeing the lower case fonts that look simalar to each other when mirrored as in db qp / qp db pick any four basic colors, one for each font .
update i have found a site that is easyer to post both picture files as well as PDF formats,i have adopted the user name of paschar at scribd.com ,there are now two Groups where i have posted all of my research and jpg picture files the Helpers Group and the Dyslexia solutions Group , full details show everything i have either worked with microsoft MVP Developers or invented myself , one may have to register to make use of the site.this should be of help to those with true mirror image vision that remains persistant.
http://www.planarsystems.com now has a mirror image interface card with dvi-d addapter ( it works great ) kind regards to all from steve .
