I am an adult with a recently diagnosed (testing and interview) LD. In relation to this, I am in search of a new career, but am unable to find a counselor in the East Bay or Sacramento areas, who actually understands LD’s and could suggest new career(s) while using my skills from my previous career and in which I could be successful. Might your organization have any suggestions for finding serious help to make a successful career change? Thank-you!

Have contacted UC Berkeley, 510-642-4111, several times in past years and more recently. They tell me they have no LD program, but thank-you for your reply! Paul Hokr
Paul, I think you miss my point. What I have listed here is that UCB has a counseling program. My guess, and I may be wrong, is that their counseling program will provide counseling for students with LD. No?
