		<description>Yes.  Absolutely.  People with learning disabilities need to understand what a learning disability really is and what it can mean to them.  I recommend that every parent should have this conversation with their LD child:

		<description>One of the parts of this research I like is that the authors go into a second level of describing what each attribute means.  

The one about &quot;self-awareness&quot; goes something like this: ...being aware of ones strengths and weaknesses in a way that doesn&#039;t over-identify with one&#039;s weaknesses (&quot;it&#039;s a part of me, not all of me&quot;) and accepts strengths as well (works to develop them).</description>
