It’s about time!!!!
Joyce: I won’t believe it until I see it and even if they finish it we don’t know how well it will integrate into the Macintosh system. I don’t need it myself but I know many who would love it.
Richard and Joyce;
I wonder, if it does come, how it will be different/better? than MacSpeech Dictate, already available.
Well, they bought MacSpeech, no doubt for the user interface although I have to say I’ve seen MacSpeech and I’m no fan.
Dragon has the best speech back end in the business, no matter what they do, if it has a well designed front end it will be quite good. If it’s just a port of the Windows app it will no doubt fail on the Macintosh. My guess is they’re putting some time and energy into it and making sure it will be successful. Buying up a Macintosh software company helps that.
