In this video interview, Philip Schultz, talk of the LD world recently, is asked five questions:
1.”You’re a Pulitzer Prize winning poet. Why did you decide to write a book on dyslexia?
2. What has the reaction to your book been like?
3. Can you talk a little about your own struggle with reading?
4. It seems that in some ways, you’ve come to view the experience of having dyslexia as a strength. What do you mean by that?
5. What would you say to a parent whose child has just been diagnosed with dyslexia?”
Mr. Shultz’s answer to question four demonstrates his determined attitude, which is evident in his book, “My Dyslexia.”
