Governor of CT. Malloy talks to students about Learning Disabilities

At the Windward School in White Plains, New York, Connecticut Governor Daniel Malloy spoke with students about growing up with learning challenges. The Windward School is an independent school for kids with language- based learning disabilities like dyslexia.

From Governor Malloy, “I think sometimes to share experiences and have people understand that there is light at the end of the tunnel and you can get through it,” he said. “Part of the problem growing up with learning disabilities is that it’s very easy to get discouraged, so if I inspire a couple of them in a moment of weakness, that’s a good thing to do.”
