Ginger Software offers an automatic text correction (spell checking) product aimed at dyslexic writers. Currently it only works with the Windows version of Microsoft Word but they will expand its application base in the future. It requires an internet connection.

The standard spelling checker can sometimes be ineffective for people with dyslexia-caused spelling problems.
Ghotit’s solution is an online context-sensitive spelling checker which copes with ‘outrageous’ spelling mistakes and is able to identify most of out-of-context words and offer the appropriate corrections.
Ghotit is still under development and currently works with Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.
